Nordalp continues in the footsteps of Handheld AB, with the same expertise and determination to deliver quality rugged products at affordable price.
After the acquisition of Handheld, MilDef’s strategic decision to fully focus on the defence and security sector, the company integrated Handheld’s defence portfolio into its core operations. As a result, Nordalp was founded as an independent venture by former Handheld employees. Nordalp continues the legacy by delivering high-performance rugged tablets, PDAs, and customised hardware and software solutions tailored for the industrial market.
The name “Nordalp” reflects the close connection and international collaboration of our team. It consists of two parts: “Nord,” representing the Nordic countries and referring to the team from Sweden, and “alp,” representing the Alps and symbolising the team from southern Germany and Switzerland.
